The International Cricket Hall of Fame honours the greatest figures in cricket from around the world, and celebrates the importance of the game to a global audience.
FRD was engaged to produce a ‘Masterplan for the Future’ which covered design development, documentation of new exhibitions and proposed multimedia content. A thematic framework was generated, outlining the key themes of the origins and development of cricket, mechanics of the game, its global popularity, greatest players and lasting connection with its fans. The written and visual exhibition content was developed in close collaboration with the Bradman Foundation.
The exhibitions explore the far-reaching influence of cricket, as seen through the eyes of its memorable players and devoted fans. FRD achieved this through an immersive visitor experience, incorporating a variety of interactive elements which encourage personal engagement with the content on offer. Dynamic lighting enhances visual engagement with a variety of artefacts, large-scale graphic installations highlight some of the world’s greatest players, and enormous multimedia showcases display historic moments in cricketing history.
