The Indigenous owned centre is the only one of its kind in Australia, and provides opportunities to engage visitors and students in multi-sensory programs and interactive learning experiences. Established to celebrate the deep and enduring bond between the people of the Kimberley and their waterways, the exhibition area presents a range of displays that showcase the region’s contemporary and traditional culture.
In 2007, FRD was engaged by the project architect John Nichols of Woodhead International to design the exhibition, shop, interpretive garden, corporate identity, brochures and signage for the Centre.
