CUSP: Designing into the Next Decade exhibited the works of designers with the potential to effect positive change in society and our way of life over the next ten years.
FRD set out to create a design that brought unity to the work of twelve distinctly different designers. As a travelling exhibition, the attendant issues associated with flexible planning, dismantling, re-assembly and longevity had to be accommodated. A limited budget, responsible use of materials, expression of construction methods and strong colours contributed to the kit of parts that underpinned the design.
