This exhibition displays more than 300 paintings, sculptures, artefacts and works on paper

Conversations through the Asian collections occupies the upper and lower Asian Galleries of the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Juxtaposing remarkable works of contemporary art with a rich array of traditional artworks, the exhibition brings Asian art of the past and present together in a series of dynamic conversations. Circulation paths and sight lines in the space and between objects were carefully considered so that a dialogue between the works was easily accessible for all visitors.
